Budget facemasks

Hello my lovelies, I hope you all had a good weekend!

Now I don’t know about you but one of my favourite things to do on weekend evenings is put on a facemask and relax in the bath reading a book, but I always struggle to find really good facemasks that won’t cost me a fortune.

Until now!

I was browsing through TKMaxx the other day when I came across the cutest looking jars containing all natural facemasks. The first thing that grabbed me was the packing – the jars are frosted glass with black lids and labels, which makes them look so classy and expensive. The next thing that grabbed me were the ingredient combinations especially the  Honey+Tumeric and the Aloe+Charcoal because I know that my skin reacts really well to honey and charcoal. The best thing about these little jars is that they were only £4.99 each!

Aloe & Charcoal

I know through past experiences that aloe works wonders for my skin so I was so excited to try this one out first!

The minute I put this facemask on I was in love! It glided on so smoothly and had the most gorgeous creamy and cooling texture. I left this on for around 20minutes until it had dried completely and then washed it off with warm water and a cloth.

I instantly noticed that my skin looked less patchy and puffy and that all the redness of my spots had gone. My face felt so deeply moisturised and silky to touch.

Honey & Tumeric

This one had the same gorgeous silky texture, so was lovely to apply, but it had an odd smell which put me off slightly. I again left this on for 20minutes and then washed it off with warm water. After I’d taken it off I noticed that my skin did look brighter, but it felt quite tight and not as moisturised as it had felt after the other facemark.

Overall I loved these facemasks but would have to say that the Aloe&Charcoal was my favourite, because it left my skin feeling and looking so fresh and moisturised. The Honey&Tumeric was nice also but I think it would suit someone with oily skin who doesn’t need such a deep moisturise.

All in all im so amazed that these only cost me £4.99 each because they definitely look and feel like they’d cost at least double that! If you’re looking for a cheap but amazing facemark then I’d definitely recommend checking these babies out!

Hannah xoxo
